At the end of 2018, in Kazakhstan, the Republican Association of ALE "Fisheries Association - BD" was successfully accredited; Chairman of the Board is D. Ye. Utemuratov
This organization aims to implement various activities. The most important ones are coordination of public fishermen associations and fisheries in the fishing field, taking part in commissions for fortifying fishery reservoirs and sites, distribution of quotas on culling fish and other aquatic animals, distribution of subsidies for the development of fisheries and etc.
On March 1 this year, "Rybprom" LLP became a member of the Association, and the Chairman of the Strategic Development Council of the company, S.А. Batyrbekov joined the board of the Association.
Priorities and functions of the Association:
Extraction and industrial processing of fish resources and other aquatic animals using the newest technologies;
application of the aspects of sustainable and rational exploitation of wildlife and the principles of responsible fishing (FAO):
improvement of the principles of fishery management through modification of conditions on the allocation of fishery reservoirs (sites) for long-term use:
enlargement of fishery sites and reduction of their number in reservoirs of national significance, reduction of the user's quantity, application of market mechanisms to the conditions of distribution of sites and quotas for catching fish and other aquatic animals
reduction of the export share of raw products outside of Kazakhstan
We believe that the newly created Association will achieve significant results in protecting the interests of fishery entities, we wish every success and prosperity to the newly established organization !!!
