Stocking plays an important role in regulating the species number of fish in the waters of Kazakhstan. But the goal of the eco-action is not just fish breeding, but also improving the ecosystem of Lake Balkhash, which is a natural attraction of the country.
150 thousand fry of the carp family - carp of six months of age (fingerlings) were delivered to Balkhash from the Almaty region in two specially equipped vehicles. The weight of each fish is from 20 to 97 grams.
The stocking process took place under the strict control of representatives of the Balkhash-Alakol Interregional Basin Fisheries Inspectorate.
